Travelogue: "Traveling and Trekking with a Toddler"
17 February | Old City Hall - Bellingham | 19:00-21:00
On 17 February I'll be speaking at the Old City Hall 19:00-21:00 on Traveling and Trekking with a Toddler, as part of the "Travelogue" series by the Whatcom Museum. This presentation will be a combination of talking about my journey into mirrorless, travel life before a family (and a pandemic), and keeping the travel spirit alive (and teaching to a toddler) in a pandemic.
“Educator, photographer, and technologist AJ Barse will share stories, philosophy, and photography from his experiences traveling the Pacific Northwest, Japan, and Europe. Though the pandemic stopped international travel, it increased his local explorations. He will share his insights as a father teaching his now 5 year old the value of travel and exploration through “adventure school” in the Pacific Northwest. Co-presented by Bellingham Parks & Recreation.
